Import fixed asset movement listing in excel format

You may import each of individual detailed assets by use of Microsoft Office spreadsheet.

For example, Excel format with file extension .xls or .xlsx

This requires a pre-defined format and is preferred and quickest method to import asset data.

Steps:

1.Prepare your listing in excel format as example shown below.

Compulsory field

•Asset description

•date of purchase

•opening balance

•current addition

•accumulated depreciation

•depreciation rate

Optional field

•Model

•Current depreciation

2.Upload your excel file at menu Asset Plug-in > Import Property, plant and equipment.

3.Complete your asset listing upload process.

4.When the listing is uploaded, you will be redirected to import asset listing page. You may view your asset listing at one of the following pages:

Menu> Asset plug-in> Worksheet and schedules Property, plant and equipment
Menu> Asset plug-in> Worksheet and schedules Investment properties - at cost
Menu> Asset plug-in> Worksheet and schedules Investment properties - at fair value
Menu> Asset plug-in> Worksheet and schedules Intangible asset
